New workplace first aid curriculum now available

Training for workplace first aid is changing to align with standards from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The new CSA-aligned curriculum is now open to approved training providers, who will be offering the new courses to first aid attendants starting this summer.

2025 WorkSafeBC Student Video Contest

Students in Grades 8 to 12 are encouraged to submit an original video for a chance to win cash and other great prizes. Students’ videos on this year’s theme of "Show up, speak up " asks young workers to show how they can use their rights and power to make their workplace healthier and safer for everyone. The deadline to submit is April 1, 2025.
