	New requirements for combustible dusts in the workplace Changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation related to combustible dust will take effect on January 4, 2027. The updated requirements will apply to any workplace where dust from materials such as wood, grain, metal, plastics, or chemicals may accumulate and create a fire or explosion risk. Free workshops on commercial vehicle safety — September 22

The RCMP and WorkSafeBC are co-hosting a free workshop in Langley on commercial vehicle safety. This workshop is for drivers operating commercial vehicles that require a Class 5 licence, such as box trucks and delivery vehicles.

The goal of the workshop is to refresh commercial vehicle operators and companies on important safety information and to answer any questions they may have.
