Proposed amendments to Schedule 2, Non-Traumatic Hearing Loss

Our Policy, Regulation and Research Department is releasing a discussion paper on proposed amendments to Schedule 2, Non-Traumatic Hearing Loss of the Workers Compensation Act (Act). Two issues are discussed: the first relates to the proposed amendments to Schedule 2, and associated policy in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II (RS&CM), and has 4 options; the second issue relates to separate proposed amendments to policy in the RS&CM to update scientific information regarding hearing loss.

Stakeholders are invited to review the discussion paper and options under consideration, and to provide feedback.

The deadline for comments is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022.
